About Us

Who we Are

Our leaders have worked in our community for decades and have gained extensive experience in community empowerment and enrichment. They have contributed significantly to the economic growth of underserved communities. Our leaders bring that year-long experience to help our community's underserved further. Our organization best serves students, allowing them to learn and practice what they are learning simultaneously. The classes we offer are all free of charge. InfoTech Impact has trained thousands of students in our community and throughout the United States in the past few years. For almost two decades, we have employed training practices that have helped transform our students into knowledgeable leaders in the community.

To improve our community, InfoTech Impact believes we must continue to reach the underserved and offer free training and access to the highest-paying and critical careers in information technology with the highest quality possible. Bringing financial relief to the families of the individuals we train helps us reach a broader audience. So, when we successfully train an individual, the impact of that training is felt by people around the student.

Our Goal

Our goal is to impact the community by expanding access to various branches of Information Technology, focusing on increasing participation from students from underrepresented groups. InfoTech Impact increases diversity in Information Technology by impacting the groups mentioned above through a well-developed curriculum, resources, and tutorials that will forever be free. With carefully selected experienced industry technology professionals, our courses are structured to captivate students and adequately prepare them for their careers by developing their skills in Software Development, Cyber Security, Structured Query Language (SQL), Project Management, Business Analysis, and Cloud Technology, amongst others.

Our Mission

Our mission is to impact and empower the underserved in our community through Information Technology training. There is an IT talent shortage in the United States! And one of the ways to combat this shortage is to improve access to technology education. That is exactly what InfoTech Impact is doing. According to the US government occupational outlook handbook, It is estimated that the demand for IT specialists will increase by 25% from 2021 to 2031, which is much faster than for any other occupation and can result in a nearly 85 million tech talent shortage. Clearly, this gap cannot be covered by the number of IT adepts graduating from American universities.

Our Vision

InfoTech Impact is a nonprofit organization with a vision to elevate the community through Information Technology. We aim to alleviate poverty by improving access to information Technology for the underserved in our community in a manner that is socially and financially sustainable, contributes to the community, and has a regional social impact. At InfoTech Impact, we strive to prepare students, right from high school and early years of college, for the real world by familiarizing them with the right technological tools that will allow them to create, innovate, and connect with various industry experts and experience an exciting learning journey in which they are taught how to apply their knowledge to solve real work scenarios, with every training ending with a robust real-life project and continued mentorship by industry experts.
